A sincere thank you to all of our artists and listeners for an exciting first 6 months of production. We’ve heard some incredible music, enjoyed countless compelling and moving stories, and met some incredible people.
All of that was recognized Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 at the Best of The Bay Awards event during which Song Divers was the proud recipient of the Best Immersive Podcast Award.
The annual Best of the Bay recognition event and publication is hosted by Creative Loafing, the Southeast region’s foremost Arts & Entertainment media group, and it recognizes two distinct types of awards: Readers’ Poll winners (nominated and voted upon by the public); and Critics’ Pick awards (chosen by Creative Loafing’s staff of esteemed writers). Song Divers was awarded the latter, for which we are very grateful and proud.
We are especially grateful for all of our guests thus far, for telling us their stories, and sharing their work with the world. Thank you also to our photography & video production team: Skyler, Shaye, and Ian. Your skills and excellence quite literally make us look good (not always an easy task!). This award reflects on the work of the entire team—we appreciate your hard work, talent and dedication.

Special congrats to Song Divers guest and fellow Ybor City Records artist Joshua Reilly on recognition for his work with the Melody Artisans of the Crooked Thumb. Kudos also to still more Song Divers guests who took home Best of the Bay awards this year: Rebekah Pulley (Best ‘She’s Still Everything’) and Danny & Alex (Best Young Yacht Rock).
